The Considerate Gorilla

 

Explanation: The Caring Gorilla

One fine day Uncle Roger had proposed a plan to visit the Gorilla hills for a family camping. I was elated by his whip-smart idea. The Gorilla hills is one of the reputed hills for camping.  We all packed our luggage and together with my parents, sister, uncle and aunt departed for the Gorilla hills.

 We reached our destination and set-up all our materials for camping. The thick foliage in the hills was penetrated by the sunlight. The flora and fauna in the hills was wonderful and beyond any description with many animals and trees present. We were instructed to stay together and explore the hills. It was a well known fact that the gorillas are most likely to be spotted there. We felt the moist soil, rejoiced the serenity of the nature and the pleasant chirps of feathered creatures. Mesmerized by the beauty of the hills, I was attracted by a vibrant colored butterfly fluttering over me. The rustling of the leaves, swoosh of the wind, and the gentle pitter patter of rain drops filled the hills with enchantment.

 I kept walking, carried away by the calmness of nature. It was exceptionally late when I perceived that I was on a wrong route, away from my family. I was frightened but also contented to be with  sublime nature all by myself. Suddenly I  was petrified to notice a gigantic gorilla approaching towards me. I tried to flee from there but I was perplexed, as I was never in such a situation before. I broke down and wept. The Gorilla sat beside me and observed me carefully. I did not move an inch. She then plucked on apple from the tree above and gave it to me. For minutes she patiently held it in her furry hands. Then after gathering some confidence,  I quickly accepted it. I took a bite of it and found it scrumptious. I requested for more such fruits by pointing my hands towards my mouth. The intelligent gorilla shook the tree with all her strength and like raindrops, the fruits fell from the large tree and were placed in front of me.

The rain grew intense every minute and there was a mayhem in the jungle with panicked animals running around for shelter. The Gorilla then gently picked me up and held me tightly in her hands and ran with exceptional speed towards a  dark cave where it was warm and delightfully comfortable. I was frightened when the gorilla ran with me. I soon perceived that she meant no harm to me, instead she tried to protect and cherish me. She placed me down cautiously in the dark corner of the cave and embraced me. She then brought a wide variety of fruits hidden under a leafy bough. We both relished those scrumptious fruits as our evening meal. Soon it was dusk and the night fell. I was worried about my family. The gorilla arranged a bed of leaves for me to sleep on. She placed a wooden basket with nuts near me so that I can consume them as per my wish. She also made me friends with her fellow monkeys and birds. She hugged me tightly and I felt secure with the amiable gorilla who provided me with everything I required, right from water and fruits to love and affection. It felt as though she was like a mother. It was stupendous for a creature like a gorilla to be such considerate.
